In 2011, owner and founder of RamsHead Caleb Walker got his start in coffee. As a Montana Native he found himself living in Portland, Oregon attending grad school where the allure of specialty coffee caught his love and attention. He ultimately decided to attend Belissimo Coffee Advisors with the intention of opening his own cafe. In late 2011 Caleb and his wife Laura moved back to Bozeman, Montana where they opened their first specialty coffeehouse (Cold Smoke Coffeehouse).
As Caleb grew in his love, education, and appreciate for specialty coffee he started roasting in 2014. For the next 4 years he roasted only for Cold Smoke, and in 2018 rebranded the roasting company, and RamsHead Coffee Roasters was officially born. Since that time, RamsHead has been recognized as one of the premier coffee roasters in the country, receiving over 35+ awards of 92+ point coffees through the National “COFFEE REVIEW” board.
RamsHead specializes in unique high end microlots in an attempt to bring you a one of a kind coffee experience. We source coffee from across the world, but give special attention to Ethiopian Coffees, Geishas, and other rare varietal of coffees.
