Snowfield Espresso Blend combines the best from small farms in El Salvador, Columbia, and Ethiopia to create an espresso with balanced notes of dark chocolate, caramel and a bright fruit finish. Specific combinations include a Las Delicious Pacamara, sourced from the Menendez Farm in El Salvador; Colombia LaVirgen from Estela Londono in Colombia, and an Ethiopian Guji from Genuine Origin.
Blind Assessment:Evaluated as espresso. Deep-toned, richly chocolaty. Dark chocolate, pecan praline, lily, golden raisin, cedar in aroma and small cup. Satiny-smooth mouthfeel; chocolaty and floral-toned finish. The milk shot is all chocolate, front and center, supported by suggestions of lily and golden raisin.
Notes:An espresso blend comprised of washed-process coffees from El Salvador, Ethiopia and Colombia. RamsHead Coffee Roasters is a family-owned company operated by Bozeman, Montana natives Patrick and Sarah Flemming that specializes in direct trade microlot coffees.
The Bottom Line:A balanced blend of coffees from El Salvador, Ethiopia and Colombia that offers a richly chocolaty and thoroughly floral cup, especially attractive in cappuccino-scaled milk.
